As we go with our journey with God,
we, the missionary of Diocese of San Carlos in our 2nd year of being part of
the Pontifical Mission Society here in the Philippines for its first time
joined its 80th anniversary. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines
(CBCP) has declared 2012 as the “Year of the Pontifical Mission Societies
(PMS).” This year-long celebration of Pontifical Mission Society was given the
titled by Pope Benedict XIV as “HISTORY, the Grand Mission Festival” last April
18-20, 2012 at Marikina Sports Complex. The celebration was categories by three
namely; Remembering the History, Proclaiming Jesus Story and Celebrating our
Faith. The Grand Mission Festival Attended by catholic schools, missionaries, parishes, religious congregations and religious organizations in the Philippines.
