Our Congregation was founded in Villefranche- de -Rouergue-France on May 3, 1816 by Saint Emilie de Rodat. She was born on September 6, 1787 in Druelle France. She died on September 19, 1852 and was canonized on April 23, 1950.
A great love of God and for the poor animated the life of our foundres , Emilie and her three companions wanted to live a Religious life by leading a simple life like Jesus, Mary and Joseph- (The Holy Family.)
Our Congregation is present in 13 Countries: France, England, Ireland, Brazil, Spain, Bolivia, Lebanon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Belgium, Italy, Philippines and India. We arrived in the Philippines on August 21, 2004.
Our charism is to pledge ourselves to follow Jesus of Nazareth and try to reveal the tenderness and love of God: his fidelity and mercy to the lowly and humble.
The mission of our Congregation is carried out through different forms of presence and service: discreet involvement in the lives of the lowly and the poor, preference being given to them in Education, Social Work, and Pastoral Care.
Our Spirituality is Simplicity, Compassion, a boundless confidence in God and above all great charity.
