Emilie and her three companions wanted to live a Religious life by leading a
simple life like Jesus, Mary and Joseph- (The Holy Family.)

the lowly and the poor, preference being given to them in Education, Social Work,
and Pastoral Care.

boundless confidence in God and above all great charity.
