Children's Celebrated Every month is October. It's a nationwide celebration. This year theme is "bright child Kung gusto mo, mo alagaan world" (if you want a bright child, take care of the world). Balay sa Nazaret Conducted a whole day activity last October 27, 2010, participated by the children, Holy Family Sisters, Social Worker, Psychologist and Parent House. Through this activity the children will be Able to Understand Their important roles in the family and in the society as a person with right and Dignity and to Develop a positive attitude about and of Themselves Towards other. The Activities Provide a better correct understanding of the Rights and Dignity of the child, and to assist the children to discover the important and Themselves Vulnerable groups in the society. The activity Had Four programs:
First, we HAD symposium, we invited a speaker from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO). The speaker Gave an emphasis on the Rights of the child.
Second, we Had a film showing the movie-Promotes good moral values to the children. Third, the child is discovery-the Children Will Be Given a chance to express Themselves through drawing and the Psychologist will interpret Their drawing.
Fourth, We had parlor games, the Children Will Develop teamwork and initiative, and to Develop socialization.
The vital element of this activity is: in the sight of God is precious children are "the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these".
